Each product on our site is sold subject to its product description. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that product descriptions, prices and other details appearing on our website are correct at the time they were entered onto the system but we cannot guarantee this at the exact moment you place an order.
The price payable for the goods is the price listed on our website at the date of confirmation of the order. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and delivery.
Your order will be accepted when we send you an email confirming your order.
Many of our products (including but not limited to fabrics, flooring and wall coverings) are made in batches and some are handmade. We cannot guarantee that the appearance of your order will match the sample exactly or that subsequent batches you order will match exactly your initial order. If a supplier de-lists a product we will try to suggest alternatives but cannot guarantee a suitable replacement.
Unless we are providing a bespoke design service you must give us correct measurements and order quantities. Please ensure that you order sufficient quantity of materials for your purposes.
Before ordering, please check the measurements of furniture carefully (see our guidelines for measurements and placing orders). You will be responsible for ensuring the goods you order will fit their intended space and there is sufficient access and space to complete the delivery.
Where a supplier delivers goods to you direct the supplier will contact you to arrange delivery. You will be responsible for making the delivery arrangements with the supplier and taking delivery of the goods. If a supplier fails to make delivery as agreed you should contact the supplier to arrange re-delivery. If you experience other problems with delivery you should contact us.
If you are not available to take delivery of goods at the date/time you agree with the supplier you will be responsible for arranging re-delivery and for any additional re-delivery or other charges the supplier may levy.
Delivery lead times are stated next to each product on our website and may vary between suppliers. We try to ensure that suppliers deliver within stated lead times but this is beyond our control and we will not be responsible if they fail to do so, unless caused by our fault or negligence.
Normal delivery will be to ground floor building entrance only. Delivery to a location other than ground floor level may be possible by special arrangement between you and the supplier but such delivery will be at your own risk and you will be responsible for any additional delivery payments the supplier may charge. We do not arrange delivery outside mainland UK.
If the supplier informs you that the room of your choice is unsuitable for delivery and/or that delivery into the specified room is likely to cause damage to the goods ordered or other property and you still accept delivery, this will be at your own risk and neither we nor the supplier will be responsible for any damage so caused whether to the goods or other property (provided that reasonable care is taken in delivering the goods).
You must sign for a delivery to confirm that delivery has taken place. Any refusal to sign will be interpreted as a refusal to accept delivery.
Suppliers are not required to unpack goods as part of the delivery service. We are working with our suppliers to encourage use of environmentally friendly packaging and delivery solutions but at this stage we cannot guarantee this.
If on delivery or after removing packaging you find any goods are damaged/missing/incorrect you should inform us immediately. We will arrange replacement of the applicable goods provided that (as applicable) the problem has not been caused by your negligence or fault and/or the goods delivered have not been installed. These conditions are in addition to and do not affect your statutory rights.
Smaller goods purchased may be sent out by post (or equivalent). You may have to collect these goods from a central depot if you are not able to take delivery in person.
The risk in the goods (including but not limited to breakage, loss and damage) will pass to you on delivery. Ownership of goods will not pass to you until we have received payment in full in cleared funds.
We cannot give any warranty as to the suitability of goods for uses other than those advised by or agreed with us.
Orders of goods not made to special order can be cancelled within 7 days of confirmation of order. Orders of goods made to special order can only be cancelled or changed within 24 hours of confirmation of such order.
Our total liability to you under any contract will be limited to the price of the goods ordered under that contract. We will not in any event be responsible for: (a) consequential losses or any other losses or damage unless arising directly from our fault or negligence; (b) damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including (but not limited to) shortfalls at source, natural disasters and restraints or delays affecting suppliers or transportation to us or you; and (c) goods ordered that cannot be delivered for any reason save our fault or negligence including (but not limited to) insufficient space or access, your absence on the agreed delivery date/time, incorrect address details given, unsuitability of intended space, narrow street, parking restrictions, lack of useable staircase or lift.
We will hold and process your personal data. We will not disclose your personal data to any third parties save to suppliers and other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange delivery of goods ordered or otherwise process your order and by ordering from us you authorise us to do this. However, we provide links to other sites that may not be governed by this privacy policy.
In addition to the information you provide to us information and data may be automatically collected though the use of “cookies”. Cookies are small files that the site can use to recognise repeat users and allow us to observe behaviour and compile aggregate data in order to improve the site for you.
We may monitor customer traffic patterns, site usage and other information in order to optimise your use of the site and we may give aggregated statistics to a reputable third party but these statistics will not include any information personally identifying you.
