More Information

 Materials
The Sunset furniture range is made entirely from 100% timber FSC European Oak with not even a single screw. Optional metal or plastic glides can be used to raise the furniture off wet ground.

FSC certification means the wood has come from a sustainably managed forest. Choosing FSC certified wood helps protect and promote the wildlife habitats and eco systems.

No varnish or oil has been used as a finish, but an extremely durable, water-based ‘Titebond’ polymer PVA glue is applied to glue the pieces together. Titebond glues are safe to use and produce no harmful fumes. They meet the requirements of ASTM D4236 for safe use.

People
As part of the FSC program working conditions, working hours and levels of pay are regularly inspected to make sure employees work in a fair and safe environment.

This product is made in East Sussex and supports a small UK business.

Resources
Around half a bucket of waste timber is produced per 3-piece suite, this is reused by a local playgroup.  A bucket of water is used per chair for cleaning the glue.

An optional extra LED up-lighter pack is available with this furniture range (place under furniture and admire the beautiful ambient light created).

Transportation
The wood travels from Eastern Europe by road to East Sussex, UK where the furniture is crafted.

Packaging
The furniture is packed in corrugated cardboard for protection, please recycle.

Care instructions
This piece will last at least 20 years and probably a lot longer. There are no specific care instructions, but please note that the oak will produce tannin marks after its first winter out
