sliding door faces: The sideboard doors are laminated by material from Polyrey: Polyrey's range has PEFC certification (www.polyrey.com/uk/polyrey/environment,244.html).  The PEFC promotes sustainable forest management through independent third party forest certification.  The laminate has also been assessed using ‘Crade to cradle’ methodology and has formaldehyde content the same as raw wood.

Birch plywood is treated with natural Danish soap, which is made from coconut & soya fats, tensides, & pigment (white); the legs are treated with natural oil made from vegetable oil components, isoparaffin, & drying agents. Both treatments manufactured by www.ttwoodcare.com (of Denmark). These products meet guidelines on EU toxicity levels but there may be some off-gassing in the home environment.
